Size guide
Measure your dog standing: the chest at its widest point just behind the front legs, the neck where a collar sits, and the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Compare with the supplier's chart below and choose by chest. If your dog is between sizes, or close to a size's chest measurement, choose the next size up.
| Size | Chest | Neck | Back length |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 13.4 in (34 cm) | 9.6 in (24.5 cm) | 7.9 in (20 cm) |
| M | 15.0 in (38 cm) | 10.6 in (27 cm) | 9.4 in (24 cm) |
| L | 16.5 in (42 cm) | 11.8 in (30 cm) | 11.0 in (28 cm) |
| XL | 18.1 in (46 cm) | 12.6 in (32 cm) | 12.6 in (32 cm) |
| XXL | 19.7 in (50 cm) | 13.4 in (34 cm) | 14.2 in (36 cm) |
| XXXL | 23.2 in (59 cm) | 17.7 in (45 cm) | 16.1 in (41 cm) |
| 4XL | 26.8 in (68 cm) | 18.5 in (47 cm) | 17.7 in (45 cm) |
The supplier measures by hand, so allow 0.4 to 1.2 in (1 to 3 cm) either way.
Safety and care
Check the fit before the first walk: you should be able to slide two fingers under the collar and under every harness strap. Clip the leash to the D-rings only, never to the jacket fabric. Before each walk, check that the buckle is closed and that the straps, stitching and rings are intact, and stop using the jacket if anything is torn or loose. Stay with your dog while it wears the jacket, and take it off before you leave your dog alone or put it in a crate. Hand wash in cool water and let it air dry.
